When you consider working at home, what is the primary reason that you have for entering into that realm of business on the Internet? Obviously, there must be some reason that you choose to start a successful work at home business, but what is the main reasons that you can name, within your own mind, for wanting to live a little differently than simply have a job like everyone else?

There are many reasons that people choose to work at home, and I will only name a few in this article.

Time Freedom

Time freedom means being able to live life on your own terms. Time freedom allows you to spend your quality time in being with the people that you wish to be with, and literally being able to determine your own destiny in your own unique way. That freedom is amazing when you are able to create that type of lifestyle for yourself. You literally have the world at your feet, and can come and go and do what you want, when you want, and no one has the right to tell you otherwise. Time freedom is really the essence of a work at home business model.

Creative Expression

I am sure that you have been involved in some type of business where your time was not your own. You were dictated to by some boss, eight hours per day, five days a week or more, and really, you have been stuck in a rut. You wake in the morning dreading what you face in that job, and are literally drowning in your own pool of sweat thinking about having to go another day, doing the same routine as you have always done. This is not living, this is slavery. This is what a work at home business can do for you. It can free your time so that you can creatively learn to build your life in your own way. Probably, the most missing link in any work at home business entrepreneurs life is called a loss of focus. Most people who work on the Internet seems to go from one thing, to another to another. Instead of actually working, writing articles, posting classified ads, writing press releases, building effective marketing websites, researching keywords for search engine placement, submitting to blogs, building new and better blogs and all the other elements that need to be in place for a successful marketing campaign, what do they do? They go on Skype and chat for hours with their friends. They go to their Facebook accounts, and chat once again about the events of the day. They go to other social media groups and basically waste valuable time.

This is true folks. Some of the people that I have attempted to work with have this common ailment. Facebookitis is pervasive in this current economy on the Internet. There is nothing wrong with that, but as far as being productive, it certainly is not.

How does a person maintain focus that will lead to productivity in a work at home business? It really is so brutally simple, and that is why people miss it time and again. Focus is simply termed as concentrated effort in accomplishing ONE THING! That one thing could be writing articles. Spend one hour per day writing keyword specific information about your business. Do NOT advertise, but rather, give your readers something of value. Do not pitch your deal, but give your reader something to think about. Do NOT give reasons why its important to join their business, but rather provide them with information they can use to understand better your work from home business model. The importance of autoresponders in running a successful work at home business cannot be over emphasized. There is much more than meets the eye when setting up, and then utilizing the autoresponder system to follow up with people who fill out contact forms on your sites. You should be able to take some time and research your deliverability of your emails, and even track those to see how many times they are opened. If you have a low rate of opens, then you know that no one is seeing your information. Do we simply choose to bury our heads in the sand and take this action, or will we choose to stand united and fight the tyranny that is being rammed down our proverbial throat? Hopefully, millions of others will follow suit, or be lose in the world of digital refuse and become yet another statistic of the 95% work at home business failure rate. Most of the problems in the work at home business world are not the companies themselves. Granted, there are companies out on the Internet that are total lies and scam, but for the most part, network marketing companies have to prove their validity. Resveratrol is a powerful antioxidant that is produced by some plants to protect against environmental stresses. It is more commonly known, however, as the active ingredient in red wine that protects against heart disease. Resveratrol very likely has more health benefits than protecing against heart disease however. According to Australian researcher Lindsay Brown, the author an upcoming Resveratrol study, "The breadth of benefits of resveratrol is remarkable – cancer prevention, protection of the heart and brain from damage, reducing age-related diseases such as inflammation, reversing diabetes and obesity, and many more significant issues that face people today.

Further, "...resveratrol turns on the cell's own survival pathways, preventing damage to individual cells," and Resveratrol " remov[es] very reactive oxidants in the body and improv[es] blood supply to cells." Moreover, "...low-dose resveratrol produces cellular protection and reduces damage, while high-dose resveratrol prevents cancers."

Resveratrol works at the cellular level to fight diseases of aging such as cancer, heart disease, diabetes, and Alzheimer’s. To do this, Resveratrol activates (either directly or indirectly) a class of proteins called sirtuins that are found naturally in cells. In particular, resveratrol activates one of the seven sirtuin proteins - SIRT1. SIRT1 fights aging at the cellular level in two ways: 1) it repairs damages (i.e. breaks) in cell’s DNA; and 2) it regulates gene expression by ensuring that genes that should be silent (“switched off”) remain silent; to do this, SIRT1 protects the molecular packaging surrounding the genes that keeps them inactive. As organisms (including humans) age, SIRT1 spends more of its time repairing damaged DNA (caused by degrading mitochondria due to aging, free radicals, and ultraviolet light) than ensuring the proper genes remain silent. Accordingly, without the attention of SIRT1, the molecular packaging around the genes that keeps them silent begins to unravel and they eventually ‘switch on’. For instance, a liver cell might have its pancreatic cell genes turned on while SIRT1 is busy repairing damaged DNA (as opposed to regulating gene expression). As a result, the defective liver cells can damage the liver (note: all genes are present in all cells but the vast majority are silent). According to Dr. Phillip Oberdoerffer, who conducted the study (in the Harvard Laboratory of Dr. David Sinclair) that exhibited SIRT1’s importance in fighting cellular aging, “…we see here, through a proof-of-principal demonstration, that elements of aging can be reversed.” The results of Dr. Oberdoerffer’s experiment at the cellular level also translated into longer life at the organism level – that is, Dr. Oberdoerffer fed mice (who were genetically modified to develop lymphoma) resveratrol or administered them extra sirtuin genes – the result was that the mean lifespan of the mice increased by 24 to 46 percent. This result is not surprising considering in past experiments resveratrol has increased the lifespan of worms, yeast fruit flies, fish, and obese mice up to 29%, 70%, 24%, 50%, and 30% respectively. Further proof that sirtuin activation increases longevity lies in the case of caloric restriction (i.e. the reduction of calories in a 'normal' diet by approximately 40% while still consuming necessary vitamins and minerals). In 1935 scientists at Cornell discovered that caloric restriction (“CR”) increased the lifespan of mice by an average of 30-40%. While this result was impressive, scientists did not know if CR would extend the life of primates (monkeys, humans). This question, over 70 years in the making, was answered in 2009 when scientists at the University of Wisconsin announced the results of a study that proved CR extends the lives of monkeys. The study, which started in 1989, began with 76 rhesus monkeys – half on a CR diet and half on a normal diet. Over the 20 years, five out of 38 monkeys on the CR diet died of age related diseases while 14 of the 38 monkeys on a normal diet died of age related diseases. Specifically, the moneys on the CR diet had no diabetes and fewer cases of heart disease and cancer. Additionally, the monkeys on the CR diet looked much younger; that is, their coats were thicker, their eyes were not as sunken, and their posture was better. That CR increases lifespan in yeast, flies, rodents, and primates is not surprising considering MIT professor Leonard Guarente has traced the molecular pathway of CR to sirtuins. In essence, it is believed that a sever caloric cutback signals cells that hard times are ahead and therefore the cells switch into survival mode. In this survival mode genes focus on maintenance and repair as opposed to reproduction. Accordingly, sirtuins are activated to (as mentioned above) repair damages cell DNA and by ensuring that genes that should be silent remain silent.

The difference is that it takes far less time, money, and effort to write a book than to earn an academic degree. Today, I created a good YouTube Video titled work at home. I wanted to create an interest from my Google reader that happened to be searching for work at home. I did this for a very specific reason. In the first place, the keyword term is searched over 2 million times each month. This tells me that people are indeed, trying to find information concerning starting a home business, or trying to find a work from home business that is highly publicized to join. Its a fact that people are interested in joining or starting a good rock solid work at home business opportunity. As with anything found on Google, there is somewhat of a catch 22 when it comes to finding good information. Often times, those that spend the most money will be found at the top. So, it may just be that some so-called Internet marketing legend has bought their way to that position. That does NOT mean that the work at home business model is right for everyone. Looking for a good business is a tough road, to say the least. The searcher may come across totally ridiculous terms like get rich quick, make money online, get rich in a home based business and other misleading statements. Let us clarify this right here and now.

There are no quick and easy solutions to a work at home business!

It is about time that all work at home netpreneurs stand and rally around that statement, simply because it is the truth. It is a funny thing about truth. Some people just will not accept the truth as being real. The more that I write about work at home, the more dedicated I become in learning more and more about the work from home industry on Google. After being involved in the work from home industry for more than seven years, I have seen companies come and go. Products seen as revolutionary are really nothing more than digital dreams. Most companies do not last, nor withstand the test of time. I see all the claims about million dollar earners on the Internet, and I will make a very bold statement in that regard. LIARS! Yes, you heard it here folks. Its about time that people came to their senses about a true work from home business. There are NO million dollar earners out there. The post that you see some guy making touting his claims of wealth and riches from Internet marketing are bold face lies. I personally am friends with many very powerful marketing people, and they do make a good living, but are the getting rich? NO. Its time to sit up and pay attention to the lies and misrepresented statements about fabulous incomes being made in a work from home business. You have the possibility of making money online, of course, but only if you possess certain skills to accomplish that task. Believe me when I tell you this folks, there are no yellow brick roads to instant success on Google. Everything that you do in a work at home business will be hard fought all the way. I can pursue my chosen field of writing content at my hearts desire. If I wish to quit, I simply walk away. So, in essence, you can say that work at home to me is freedom in its essence.

Becoming a work at home professional is time consuming at first. The reason for the failure rate in the home business industry is the fact that almost no one knows what to do, once they have joined that wonderful widget business. This is a sad but true fact folks. You want to know why this is? Well, owners of these super networking legendary make millions of dollars from home simply know nothing about teaching their affiliate how to do it. They may have some so called legend working, but in reality, that person is someone who happens to either know a lot of people, or simply email spams their way to millions of people. In other words, its more or less a numbers game. If you were to ask them how they do it, they would tell you to gather all your friends and family and tell them about your work at home business. If you are like me, that is distasteful, to say the least.

So, what is the secret sauce, if any, that makes a work from home business work? Its really no secret at all. You do your diligence, find a company with a good product, believe in that product and begin the process of telling others about that. There are numerous ways to promote a work at home business, so you must choose the ways that will work for you. You may be comfortable holding meetings or parties. That is ok, but do it all the time and never quit. You may choose a work from home business that requires you to travel to other locations. That is fine as well. You may have a large sphere of influence in another WAH program, and feel comfortable with sharing your information with them, but be aware, most work at home business companies do not like for you to promote anything but their gig. You can literally be shut down very quickly if you are found cross promoting. People generally believe that even though they have a great business, it should just build on its own. Folks, there is NO business that will accomplish that. You are going to have to become very savvy in the art and science of working at home if you stand a chance at becoming successful in this industry. Quite frankly, most will give up after a month or two. They could be right on the verge of a breakthrough, yet decide to throw in the proverbial work at home towel, and jump over to the greener pastures of yet another program that will earn them millions. I talk with people every day that jump from one work from home gig to another, searching for that pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. Well Dorothy, just follow the yellow brick road to perdition, because that is exactly what you will find there.

Many people believe that working from home is a lot like the old envelope stuffing gigs of yesteryear. You remember seeing those ads of making money from your own envelope stuffing business, right? Well, the whole deal was a work at home scam, of which there are many. You must know that almost everything you see and read on the Internet is utter BS. I mean that sincerely. There are no super duper work at home businesses that will make you rich. There are no secret sauce programs that will get your sites listed on Google. There are no software download programs that will cut the effort. Please remember this. Working from home is just like being employed. You must show up every day, and make just a little progress. At the end of that day, you go to bed, and get up and do it all over again. How long does it take for work from home success? As long as it takes! I am not being cynical here folks, only truthful. I have built several large work from home organizations, and the only way that I am able to do this is by working the work at home gig. There is simply no way around this fact, and if you think otherwise, then are a green newbie that is going to lose their socks in that latest and greatest juice business, I personally guarantee it!

The more positive side of working from home is the freedom to choose the way that you wish to live. I answer to no one, have all that I need, do what I want and when I want, and basically I can find no better way to live than that. I hear and read about work from home scams, and I know for a fact that a lot of people that bitch, moan and whine about not making any money from their work at home business, are nothing more than that. Bitching does not get results, working gets results. If they spent as much time writing about their businesses as they write about how they got ripped off, they might have made a few dollars, who knows? Self disciple plays heavily into the art and science of developing a great work from home business project. Most have not the discipline to get and hold a real job, much less approach working from home in a professional manner. Its sad, but its the truth folks. More time is wasted in making non-sensical chit chat on Facebook and Skype, that actual work is done. I look at that, and simply have to laugh as these are the people who are not making money, and wondering why?

Work at Home is a reality for myself, and millions of people around the world. In these days and times of economic unrest, it would seem that people should be looking to find that perfect home business, as the real jobs are fastly coming to a close. Internet jobs last, and will continue to last even in times of economic depression. This should be a very good and positive sign for all the work at homers pursuing the work at home business industry. Frankly, I put my trust in my work at home business way before I trust the politicians and lawyers that run this country. My work from home business is mine, and as long as I follow their guidelines, and work my tail off, I am good to go. Quite possibly you can learn to do that as well.
